University of Idaho Alumni Association to Gamma Theta member into Alumni Hall of Fame MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Alumni Association will induct C. Scott Green (Gamma Theta/Idaho ’91) into the Alumni Hall Fame as part of the university’s Moscow campus Commencement Weekend in May 2009. Created in 1962, the Alumni Hall of Fame now recognizes more than 160 University of Idaho alumni who have achieved national or international distinction by their accomplishments and leadership. “The University of Idaho legacy of leaders is exemplified by the selection of Scott Green to join the Alumni Hall of Fame,” said Steve Johnson, executive director of Alumni Relations. “Our 2009 inductees continue that remarkable legacy.” The inductee C. Scott Green of Glen Head, N.Y., is an accountant, author, educator and business executive. Green is executive director of WilmerHale, one of the world’s largest law firms. As executive director of the firm, he oversees the business operation that includes 1,400 employees at 10 offices in five countries. The firm generates annual revenues of $1 billion. He also is the author of two books on the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and has written numerous articles for academic and professional journals and magazines. Green earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Idaho in 1985 and a master of business administration degree (MBA) from Harvard Business School. He served as student body president as an undergraduate, and the national president of University of Idaho Alumni Association in recent years.
